We come from a company with four decades of experience— but with fresh passion and innovation
We have been creating, developing, and commercializing compostable packaging solutions utilizing agricultural residues for over forty years. Through that time we have refined to create better processes and products.
Now we create numerous solutions in the domains of industrial food, pharmaceuticals, and consumer good packaging. All the products that have been created are utilizing agricultural residues and are home compostable. Through Pakka Impact we are now sharing our experience and looking to collaborate with companies who are searching for similar solutions.
Sagar has spent more than 12 years in the Packaging domain. After completing his Masters in Green Technology he has been aligned to work in areas of Sustainable Packaging. Concept-2-Commercialization is his core strength. His heart is in understanding product applications & developing solutions on its basis.
Dr. Anshu has received her doctorate degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India on “Natural Fibre Polymer Composites”. Research and innovation is her core strength and her vision is to develop sustainable product for packaging application using green process. She has good know-how of technology transfer.
Ajay has over 7 years of business development and key account management experience. Enjoys establishing excellent rapport with individuals and assisting customers in resolving problems, resulting in client satisfaction. Sustainability is something that he is extremely passionate about.
Rehan earlier completed his UG in Polymer Science and Technology from IIT Roorkee, India; MS in Bioresource Technology from the University of Alberta, Canada. He is actively involved towards the development of MVPs in the compostable flexible packaging domain.
Dr. Indranil has a total of 7 years of experience in research of which he has dedicated a substantial time in development of sustainable and biodegradable plastics. His aim is to come up with cleaner and greener alternatives to single use plastics.
Ved is deeply passionate about building businesses that do good. With over 20 years of experience with compostable packaging and agri pulping, he finds joy in making new opportunities. He leads Pakka Inc, an organisation that invests towards compostable food carry, service and packaging solutions from sugarcane residues. He believes real change will only manifest through scale and looks to collaborate for investments, innovations, technology and marketing.
Prof. Ramani is the big guru of Bioplastics & helping technologies emerging from bioplastics. was named MSU University Distinguished Professor in 2007 -- the highest honor that can be bestowed on a faculty member by the university; Governor’s (State of Michigan) University Award for commercialization excellence He has 200 refereed publications, and 30 issued patents. He has graduated 19 Ph.D and 25 Master’s students. He is a successful entrepreneur, having commercialized several biobased and biodegradable product technologies.
Rahul is a researcher turned business development person and now a global industry leader. He started his career in pulp and paper and then built himself in the non-woven and filtration space. He is our guide when it comes to channelisation of innovation systems and application based work. He brings insights from a wide variety of domains.
Mr Pradeep Dhobale has been a very well known figure in the paper industry for a long, long time. He spent most of his career with ITC Industries starting as a trainee and rising to the board level. He headed the paper division of ITC and took the same to new heights. He is a continuous learner and post his retirement spends time mentoring various startups to groom them and enable budding entrepreneurs to get results. We are fortunate to have his insight and guidance on the board.
Marcus has built an amazing specialty chemical company CTP in Germany. He is one of the most affable and gregarious people we know and he brings in various insights from the global development perspective. His business brain and innovative ideas help us with understanding of developments in the specialty paper space and enable us to be more aware of the industry.
